I’m a people analytics leader with international experience as a consultant, strategist, analyst, and speaker. I’ve worked with private-sector executive teams - from small entrepreneurial ventures to multinationals - as well as large public-sector employers across industries including manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, mining, security, logistics, and telecommunications.

Fresh out of university with a psychology degree in hand, I landed in the world of human resources in search of a long-term career. I found my true calling during a postgraduate course in workforce planning, where survivor analysis, workforce flow modelling, and data visualisation brought clarity to complexity - and a sparkle to my eye.

People analytics tells the story of thousands of unique lives, with data as the breadcrumbs left behind when decisions are made. To some, the sheer volume and complexity of this data can feel overwhelming. But I love a good puzzle.

I discovered machine learning - using tools like Python and R - later in my career, but now I can’t imagine making data-informed recommendations without it, especially in a workforce setting where the impact on people is tangible. Completing my master’s degree in data science, strategy, and leadership consolidated my approach to bridging the gap between technical teams and executive decision-makers, enabling me to measure, monitor, predict, and guide strategic change with confidence.

Data science empowers us with the tools to find the story in the chaos - to identify risks and chart a path forward. For me, the magic lies in translating insight into action - crafting clear narratives that build buy-in and momentum to improve both employee experience and organisational performance.

And when I need to balance my introvert with a bit of closet extrovert? I dance. Lindy hop, rock and roll, Charleston, and a few other styles for fun. The music, movement, and subtle cues of a dance partner shift my brain from thinking to responding.
